PROJECT PLANNING GUIDE
Planning a Land Clearing Project
A clear property plan helps determine what equipment and finish may fit. Marking boundaries and trees to retain can prevent misunderstandings before work begins.
Before you request an estimate
- Confirm property boundaries and mark the requested work area; do not rely on vegetation lines as a boundary.
- List trees and vegetation to retain, along with the finish you want: access path, open lot, or mulch left on site.
- Share acreage, terrain, wet areas, drainage concerns, gates, and equipment access.
- Locate utilities and identify wells, septic systems, fences, and other features that equipment must avoid.
- Ask local authorities about protected trees, wetlands, erosion controls, and permits before scheduling.
